No  ;D ;D ;D ;D
About 14mpg

I had one that I put £60 worth of petrol in it and I did 50 miles  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D the O2 sensors where sho,t so I drove and collected the new ones and fitted them at the side of the road, so on the drive home I thought I had won the lottery when it was doing 19 ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Had the A/C regassed today. Now the entire climate control works properly, and doesn't just run with the fan on full trying to do 'something.'

Wishbones are next to fix the awful crashing from the front N/S.

Picked up my KYB springs and fitted them to the Elite, easier than I thought. I don't think I would've been able to do it without spring compressors though as I didn't drop the exhaust. New springs are about 3/4 inch maximum taller than old ones - I don't know how old the old ones are but that's alot of sinkage! I thought about grinding off the bottom of the old spring instead of getting new ones, but at £108 you can't complain. I am fitting a towbar and will be towing kevin the caravan, and it's got new shocks and donuts so why not! I forgot to clip the ABS sensor wires back on! Doh, that's a job for the morning before I go to work.

Removed Bose shelf in an attempt to fit a donut tank in the spare wheel well, still didn't fit. But got a blind to go in, and the Bose amps going in the first aid cupboard anyway. So busy tomorrow.  :y

You lucky sod.
Petersfield to Hindhead (a distance of 15 miles) on the A3 coming back from Pompey one nice sunny evening and I found myself sharing some rather spirited driving with an Evo owner.

350 cubic inches (that's 5.7 litre) and fed by a 600cfm 4 barrel Holley saw me get 6mpg over that 15 mile run with the Evo, but he pulled in to the petrol station at Hindhead lights last so it was worth it  :) :) :)
