Omega Side Reflectors
« on: 29 August 2006, 17:06:10 »

Just contacted my local Vx to find out what they did and they only do the standard orange ones, I was told if I can get the part number they could order them in for me.

I have a silver saloon and am not quite sure what to get.

I have seen some Irmscher ones on Ebay and some smoked ones along with the clear.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/GENUINE-VAUXHALL-SIDE-REPEATERS-IRMSCHER-OMEGA-B-C_W0QQitemZ110024486053QQihZ001QQcategoryZ14763QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Vx say they can order pretty much which ever I choose so long as I have the part number.

The Irmscher ones to me look kind of silvery if that makes any sense.

If anyone has any of the above and are willing to post the part number and a picture (optional) it would be much appreciated.

Cheers

Roy

I have black indicator repeaters on my black beastie.  I like the 'unified' look rather than the orange thing stuck on the side.

Got them from e-bay ages ago, not sure who/what/how much though!!

B

ps - The paintwork is actually quite shiney - its just the reflection of the kerb and road!!

Hotel21 the black (smoked) look quite smart was thinking of putting some on my project car (dads) if he keeps it.

I wonder what they would look like on a silver Meega.

Do you have a part number at all.

Cheers

I bought my smoked ones from seller vauxhall_styling and they were a tenner plus postage a year ago.  The ones linked above are cheaper and genuine, it would appear.

I got myself a pair of smoked ones from this place... He sells a lot of discount Irmscher goodies for the Omega and other Vauxhalls  :).... He was actually advertising them on e-bay at the time but I am sure that if you ring or e-mail them they will let you know if they have any in stock......

I bought some from vxmania on ebay, which is actually a main vx dealer. I have 'before and after pics' and will try and work out how to post them on here. They cost me £8.30 inc postage, and they were priced at £3.44 each plus vat from vx although they didn't have anything other than orange either! Whilst i try and figure out the pics I could email them if interested.

They are not on TC as far as I can see. Don't think they are that expensive retail though...

Try this link (hope it works!)

http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k295/jonny2112/Omega/ccc21dfb.jpg

The part number listed on the sales invoice was v0009195572 - does this make any sense?

My car is champagne, but the orange lenses had to go!!

Sorry forgot to add - I don't think they are listed for TC but I guess it would depend on your relationship with your friendly vx parts dept!
