I've come across a facelift 2.2 petrol CDX going very cheap that is almost entirely rust free - tiny amount of surface rust at lower edge of rear door shuts that could easily be stopped in its tracks.

Trouble is, the current owner is removing the engine and gearbox for a classic car project.

I have a spare 3L V6 engine and box, but is it an easy transplant?

Guessing the front clip will need to be changed out, but what about things like the exhaust hangers, inner wing mounts for header tanks, etc.?

Got the pin and 2 clips here mate, pm incoming.

FYI, part #s

90343855  7 61 365 BOLT, REGULATING BOLT TO SHIFT FINGER
11087213  7 61 763 WASHER, SAFETY, REGULATING BOLT TO SHIFT FINGER

Ok, so I've got the under-headlight tube part, but still need a pump if anyone has one.

Part numbers are 90 127 502 which was superseded to 90 166 361 according to EPC

What does your battery voltage drop to when you're cranking the starter?

I've had several batteries in the early stages of failure where they'd show a good voltage but wouldn't deliver decent amps to turn the engine and the voltage would drop so low that everything electrical in the car would reset - radio, windows, sunroof, the lot.

Have you tried a known good battery?

At least it was a front hub... the rear ones are a right idiot to do.

I'll take that off your hands mate, thank you very much.

What do I owe ya?

I MAY have one of the old slider jets...

Ill have a rummage, may be a few days as the box I think I saw one in is in is currently unaccessible.

That'd be much appreciated Jimbob.  I have plenty of the washer jets but all the spare sliders I have are faulty in some respect and the O/S one in the car has decided to start leaking and siphoning the washer tank.

Yep, 90166361, cheers.

As title - need a headlight washer pump for '99 pre-facelift

If anyone has any of the sliding tube things that bolt onto the underside of the headlight (GM # 90510268) I'll take those too

Have one here I could post to you.

Time to get these out from under my feet..

For sale, stripped 3L V6 engine with approx. 140k miles which had suffered head gasket failure on cylinder no.6, cams already sold.

3L V6 bottom end, good oil pressure, compression was good before head gasket failed.  £60

3L V6 heads with straight valves.  £50 each

Or £120 for the bottom end and both heads.

I bought a Reinz head set and bolts from AllGermanParts for £115 early last year.

Ah, good point. What I have is no use to OP, sorry.
