Well mine certainly weren't good that's for sure, You might find those blisters going towards your filler cap might just be where the paint has allowed water to get underneath & rusty water has seeped out, so worth checking first by rubbing it down before hacking a huge lump away. :y

very true mate. im simply going to cut out the crud until i get to good un-rusty metal. then weld new in.

this car im keeping forever!!! hopefully ;)
