I presume that was the commendably rust free silver estate we saw at Brackley.

Mine is the Ultra rare star silver CDX Saloon ,seen here surrounded by more common colour omegas at Brackley  :D ;D

Such a shame you intend to scrap your last estate Terry ,particularly as it's a manual gearbox one  :'(

Cleaned the sidesteps / running boards up on the Range Rover Sport, they always looked a bit pitted & stained  even after a wash so a bit of elbow grease and some Solvol Autosol  metal cleaner & they look like new again & working in glorious sunshine 😎

Deployable or fixed ones?

Pussy's alarm went off twice yesterday, so more electricity put in.  TBE is currently having electricity, and taking an awful lot. I suspect all its short journeys aren't great to the battery.

Removed central locking motor from n/s/f door. Then stripped it down ready for microswitch replacement.
Hopefully a little bag of switches will arrive tomorrow so I can take the whole gubbins in to work tomorrow evening and get the switch swapped over.

Would that be the non member that doesn't live in Reading? ::)

I went to move the Mondeo this afternoon and it was as dead as the proverbial parrot!  :(

Luckily I hadn't bother to lock it, so after a bit of a faff pulled the battery out and it's currently on charge. I'm not holding out much hope though as it seemed fine yesterday, but completely dead today....  :-\  :'(

Best put some leccy in Golvo tomorrow.  ::)

No it's not!  It has ceased to be... it is (probably) an ex-battery!   ::)

I'll see if it goes 'voom' tomorrow after I've put 4000 (ish) volts in it!  ;D

I can still make savings on home insurance ,though that is very cheap anyway
Plus I can save when Mrs Builder's Motor policy is due  :)

Though, I've seen her drive  :o if I was her insurer , the policy would be considerably more  :D  ;D  :-X

Actually drove the Range Rover today ! Had to go up to the caravan storage to empty some equipment out of the van in readiness for its service in 10 days time, very little traffic about.
