xenon bulb change

How do I change the xenon headlight bulbs ??
I dont really seem to be getting even close to it actually  :-/

Two ways of doing it. Remove air filter housing for right bulb and batery for left, or second one which I prefere - take entire headlight out (10 min job) The headlight is held in by 3 bolts. Two of them you see on the top, one is hidden under the headlight, a bit deeper.

Yep !   Take the whole blinkin light out of the car...EVEN if you get the old bulb out with the lights in situ, odds are it will be a complete bugger to get them back in and the surround seated properly.

Once you know where the 3 screws are hidden its a relatively simply job....I know as last Xmas they were removed and replaced nearly 20 bloody times in mine...Don't ask !

My garage have done mine before and they always remove the headlamp unit. Takes them about 5-10 mins per side.

Dont attempt to do it if the lights have been switched on in the previous half hour or so.Very high voltage in there. Could give you a nasty shcok. ;)
