Drove it on poly bushes for the first time without half a tonne of tools in the back. Very impressed. That has shapened up the steering no end.

.. and ordered some new rear tyres. ::)

So could I. Just need some positive camber until I can see fabric on the other side. :-X

Then neutral camber, over inflate, and get your money's worth from the centre ::)

Passed one on the m4, blue lights, pulled some modded jap car. Good move for unmarked plod. Loads of insignias about, difficult to spot, but see twin pipes doing 70, slow down.

I drove it to North Weald airfield..

And then had an absolutely stonking morning hooning around in an Aston Martin DB9 (rather underwhelming, actually, with the flappy paddle box), Audi R8 (much better!), Ferrari 430 (simply awesome), Porsche 997 Turbo (kinda disappointing), and a (new) BMW M3 (awesome saloon).

Then drove it home again.. it didn't feel quite the same after that somehow ;D

Replaced dud EML bulb, but in process a GID blub blew! D'oh!

New Aux belt fitted, Wynns hydraulic valve lifter treatment added to try and silence a couple of noisey tappets at very hot idle, no affect yet 75 miles later  :(
