Camber, Caster and Toe settings.
« on: 02 November 2009, 04:42:22 »

Guys, once again, I would really appreciate your help. I did a search, but could not find the information I was looking for  :-[ :-/  Would someone be so kind as to provide me with the camber, caster and toe settings for a facelift mig for front and back please? I have just changed all the parts in the front suspension (tie rods, droplinks, wishbones, front discs and i dont know what  all the stuff is called  :D ) and will be going to have the camber / toe / alignment done this evening.

Thanks  :y

Best bet is to contact Tony at WIM... I'm sure he'll help you out, especially as you're so far away ::) ::)

Those might be the figures "out of the book" but set an Omega up to those tolerances and it'll be all over the place and wearing tyres like no tomorrow. In particular, once the suspension has some wear the front camber setting needs to be much less. Around 1o10' seems to be typical, but it really needs someone like Tony at WIM to assess the dynamic camber on the individual car to set it up perfectly.

Alright, seems i'll have the camber set at 1o10 in that case and hopefully that will help my tyres.

Great stuff guys, I thank you again  :y

Bloody camber, wheel alighment, balancing, toe all done properly along with full geometry setup. Now, the car feels a lot more different and behaves properly on the streets even when I misbehave with her  :D ;D :y

Note to Kevin : ALL front suspension parts have been changed with new genuine parts  :y
