Omega 2.5 V6 aircon problems
« on: 19 July 2010, 22:08:22 »

Having problems with my aircon, don't think it has ever worked in the 3 years we've had it. I had it re-gassed but the compressor doesn't kick in, tried to bypass the low pressure switch but it has made no difference, I still don't have a feed to the clutch on the compressor.
I'm assuming the low pressure switch is the one on the top of the pipe with 2 connectors and not the one in the photo below

If anybody has any suggestions i'de be greatful becuase its making a good greenhouse at the moment.
Outside temperature sensor is faulty can this make a difference?
Thanks
Giles

Stick 12v direct to compressor, if the clutch kicks in your gas has probably leaked out

Who ever regassed it should, by law, have tested it for leaks before filling it, as well as doing a proper diagnostic on the pump.

Personally, I'd be going back and asking why they didn't ... :)
