As above. Before I start trying to use epoxy on the old one, and thus end up in casualty, anyone got one of the above they'd be willing to post for not too many pennies? :D

Just to add, turns out this piece of plastic wizardry is also known as the purge valve :y

I wouldn't particularly pay that price for one, but there is one of the heebay

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VAUXHALL-OMEGA-AIR-VACUUM-VALVE-0280142361-3950/183336575333?hash=item2aafb62165:g:k9QAAOSwvg1bUxis

Easy to miss as not got the right 'tag words' in the title. Appears a different part number but looks identical to me.

Yee-ouch!

Currently got it together with superglue and epoxy, will see how we get on.

Remarkably managed not to stick myself together, or to the car, or to the dog, too...

haha. Good to know.

Yeah, I certainly wouldnt want to pay that (especially  as it's used, might break in a day, or 100k, who knows?) but just saw it and thought I'd offer it, just in case.

PFLs have a different type, which I've only ever seen on Vectra Bs, and my spare one came off a Corsa B 1.0 12v, oddly. I did check in case I'd picked up one of the later type by mistake, in which case I'd have offered it to you, but alas no.

Are they the ones where it's all pattern parts but they don't shout about the fact, and are a bit loose with the truth regards the word 'genuine' or am I thinking of someone else?

ER no,,  I know who you are referring to, and I've never had any problems with them, when it's said genuine it's been genuine,, but then if I wasn't happy I would call round and block their Access while they sorted it out.. :y
