Ordered discs and pads all round for the Merc. Much obliged to Jason at Allgerman for his service. Have only heard good things, so nice to experience it first hand...

Parcelforce permitting,  I should be busy on Boxing day  8)

Having taken Maureen to her grand daughters for the day I've returned home and replaced thermostat. Was a bit worried about this as I've heard/read much on here re the "B" bolt. However every thing has gone smoothly with no more hassle than I'd normally expect when working on a car.Running engine up to temp and sorting out coolant level all seems watertight and dry-time will now tell!

Quite a satisfying job, that ;)

Don't forget to set the heater temp to HI/max otherwise you'll get a coolant level warning when you first use the heater as it still has air in it... :y

Discs and pads all done, parking brake requires tweaking, but same design as Omega but with three times the adjustment, so requires alot less effort to adjust it 8)

Job for another day though as the weather is king horrible now...

Did 40 miles in 2 hours in the rolling car park on the M25 yesterday back from Kent, then did the last 70 miles in an hour and a half. :y :y :y

Put some oil in the Bullet to stop it moaning. Not before I had myself some slow speed fun on the icy roads.

Stalled the Battlebus by parking too close to the Bullet running on high idle, heck of a job to restart.

Took Battlesbus down the tip...   ...but brought it back :P

Cleaned up 3 out of 4 threads on some bits that need fitting.

Also put a load of mould killer on the Battlebus, and slapped the Bullet on charge. Again.

Started it up. First time since Christmas Eve. Filled it up & checked the tyre pressures. Ready for the commute to London in the morning.  :y
