Speed dependent rumbling noise, but doesn't change when going left or right.
Wheel bearing still family favourite? If it was a prop bearing, that would be a much higher frequency presumably?
-
I have a failing rear wheel bearing and it changes very notisably with some vigerouse left right...
-
I suppose there are lots of bearings in the transmission that could rumble if they felt like it - prop shaft centre bearing, diff input bearing and diff output bearings. I've never known one fail. Am I just lucky?

It's those cheap shitty tyres that you insist on buying! ;D
-
I was convinced my diff was rumbling for a while.. Until I noticed the exhaust blow just ahead of the back box. ::)

2 year jaguar warranty with the car?
If not I'm sure that Mr Fuse 19 fella will diagnose and fix it free of charge. :)

I do keep wondering if its just tyres...
...but I think its getting a bit too intrusive to just be that now. Rears are Dunlop SportMaxx GT.

Are we talking Omega or Shaguar here?

'fraid I left some rubber at Morrisons this morning. :-[
The damned pay at pump machine took about 3 minutes to read my card and then announced "Cancelled - use kiosk" - what?
That'll be the one full of chavvy mums each doing their weekly shop and still in their pyjamas? Not effing likely!
-
Check your bank account... Ne'erdowells apparently have a growing knack of fitting Bluetooth transmitters to the card readers...

True, that that's only going to happen if I CBA to go into the office.
The thing has not moved an inch in the last week... ...saving me a fortune.... ...in screenwash :D
