The old Zafira, one of the more powerful at 150bhp was ok for me in all honesty, I do mostly A road driving, and quite twisty ones at that, so being being able to quickly and safely get past trucks and tractors in small opportunities is a must.  I didn't want stupid speeds in my next one, but ideally a little quicker.  That said, I do seem to have bought one which is more of an improvement than I needed too :D

Ive gone for a 2013 model with 51000 on the clock.

Hard to get the right balance of Power, Condition, Age, Mileage and economy

No idea. Think itís historic from when the 220 was a 2.2 the 250 a 2.5 and 300 a 3.0

Could just be marketing. Neither know nor care. Itís a name.

Serviced big blue. Needs a rear brake cleanup though as the pads are sticking ever so slightly and making a little noise as they catch going round....

And traded in the Zafira and C3 Picasso

Done the deed today and a replacement comes next week  :D

From memory pfl was lowered just using shocks
Facelift was springs and shocks

10
Fluid, not pads.

The sensor is in the tank in the engine bay, when is a bit low you get the handbrake light intermittantly.

11
Low brake fluid.

Had a look at this today...Very nice if a little over budget

Nice offer that if bought on finance (needs 12k initially, then at least 4k for 10 months) you get a 3 year warranty

Let me worry about the cost. Or not. ;-)

Cheers for the feedback. Was more tempted by the 2 litre!

Isn't the XF Sportbrake only available with the derv engine-and only the small one at that?

No, plenty of options, plenty of power.  trouble is I prefer the latest facelift, which means 1 year old max in a sportbrake....far too expensive :(
