and glass removal from a door isn't the easiest job in the world.
It could always be some grit between the glass & the runner, in which case more lub won't really make much difference.
Find your local habidashery or tailors supplies shop and ask for a piece of tailors chalk. It fits in the windows runners perfectly and made my windows silent
QuoteQuote...how do you cancel the alarm after opening the car with the key blade?
You just need to turn the ignition on.
You can also lock the car with out the alarm setting (saves annoying the neighbours) by reaching through an open rear door and pushing the 'plunger' on the drivers door. Be aware though, the dead locks won't be on...
I thought that deadlock and alarm won´t go on if key lock button is pressed just once. ?
my girlfriend has just brought me a haynes manual..it doesnt cover every model but it is a start though
Well i left the original tc on my td when i upgraded to the ar35 over a year ago...
You just need to change the bellhousings not the torque converter. I cant remember what i did exactly, but i disasembled the old box first to work out which were the bellhousing bolts. I think they are the larger ones inside. The other thing that is different to manual is you have to line up the thing in the middle of the torque converter to the tabs in the box. That may be common knowledge but took me a while to work out!
other than that, its just the weight of the box and the mess that could be tricky. Garage-D in watford would be capable as a personal recommendation
