Mrs VXL V6 often tells me that my Saloons boots are far to small and her estate is much more practical. Personally I can't see what the issue is.....

For Loo Knee.
Spent the day yesterday at his new 'posh' unit and had fitted wishbones, drop links, struts, springs, discs and pads.
Several cups of coffee later and the car was ready to drive away
Brilliant service, learn't loads about how it all bolts together!

Just wanted to say a public thanks to Loo Knee for fitting the replacement hub on my V6. It's a job i've never done before so didn't fancy the idea of breaking the car on my drive!

Just wanted to say a quick thanks to the Pink Mod for sending some relays down to me while we were on our holidays, thankfully this restored the radiator fan operation on the Estate.
Now just got to get the Aircon fan running again!

Many thanks to Jaime who decoded my latest 2013 and managed to unpair a GID from a head unit that has failed.
Now got a paired set, just need to locate a kick panel connector and get the soldering iron out before I can proceed with updating the tractor estate.

Passed for a another year with no advisories.
Also got the tester to fit a new fuel filter while it was on the ramp (saved me having to jack the car up and lay on the wet driveway getting covered in petrol!). Top Man!

Just wanted to say a big thanks to TheBoy for decoding, Bose enabling, programming and recoding all the vaious bits of Infotainment kit tonight.
The poor chap had only just walked through the door when I turned up with another box of Omega headunits etc!
So Thanks for all your time and effort, it looks like i'll have some removing and installing work to do on the car on Sunday!
Oh and MrsTB makes a decent cup of tea!

My replacement Omega has a towbar fitted.
It's the style that the hitch/ball part detaches and the bumper has a small cut out at the very bottom. It also has twin electrics and a board cut-out in the boot floor to keep the boot floor flat.
What are they worth and can I just put some rubber bungs in the holes in the boot floor?
