Is that the one you put the link up for?

Alcester is just down the road from where I work and closer to where I used to live!

Would do if it's not contacting the disc.

EDIT: Sorry, think I read it wrong, you are saying groove (worn) and I was assuming ridge (raised).  ::)

Some pads have a slot in the friction material surface (almost like two pads on one backing). I guess that would cause a grove to form on the disk.  :-/

Drop the rear tyres to 26psi......and put some weight in the boot.

I have had no problems (they heal and toe well for big wheel spins!)

Unless you've got a DBW model.... Brake pedal cuts the throttle  :'(

Pain in the butt when you want to dry the front brakes out after going through a ford!

The rear traction also varies with how much fuel (weight) is in the tank.

I'd have to walk 2 miles to the railway station, catch a train that would take me 10 miles in the completely opposite direction, walk from Birmingham Moor Street station to Birmingham New Street station and then get a train 12 miles in a slightly different direction from which I came.

Or I could just use the car and travel 8 miles door to carpark (free) via country lanes. Oh and I need my car for work as well.

Don't see what the problem is to be honest, You'd have to pay to advertise virtually anywhere else and if you wanted to express clear a cheque you'd have to pay bank charges.

Most large value items (such as cars) usually have the transaction done by agreed means other than Paypal so they don't pay the fee's.

Also 'PP' is a Luton registration so I guess they could be ex Vauxhall test / pre-production cars, though pre-production cars usually get crushed.

Its scary to think of what Ive spent on my grey car getting it to concours condition, the price I paid for it and all the new genuine stuff that Ive changed, total rust removal paintwork,3 sets of wheels etc etc and its still worth the same as a bag of jelly beans. Thats Why I will never sell it. I can understand now why some old gits have mint mk1 granadas never use them but wont sell them.

Thing is, i'd always spend the money to get the car 'right' which means i'd then keep it for a long time. Also, I can't think of any other big RWD saloon that I prefer to have over the Omega.

Did a guys Cambelt a few weeks ago who had and a Y reg CDX V6 which really was nice, no rust, scratches etc, inside was spot less he paid £600 for it :o

I spent more than that on mine to get it up to scratch! :o

That's the problem, in order to keep a car running well / legally it costs you money, money that is then rendered worthless when you sell the car or it gets written off.
