I remember reading about this on BBC news.  The officers were reported to their superiors and got into trouble for it.  I know a lot of police and I know they get away with more than they should IMHO, the general rule is 'Dont get caught.....!'

I still stand by my theroy of it not been a "real" police car TBH

Nope it was real, I remember reading it.  The officers saw the kids messing around on this road with their crappy boy racers cars and decided to show them what you can do with some proper training (and the right car)

Numpties didnt count on spotty sniveling chav putting the mobile phone recording on the web.

I recollect many some years ago a little plastic model of a clenched-fist for the parcel shelf of cars was on sale in the U.S, which a small pneumatic pipe leading to a bellows placed near the driver.
When the bellows were pushed the air presssure lifted the signalling-digit on the hand to send the 'message' to following drivers.

I think it was called a 'Pop the Birdie'.....`funny the first time I saw it...but being America it wasn`t long before the right to bear arms spoilt the fun when some recipients of the bird took homicidal offence!  
 
I never had one, but I always had the 'Crushed Kitty'; the (fake) half-cat seemingly wedged in the closed tailgate....`what ever happened to them; they were funny!

...to Germany!  I have finally moved everything out of the house, satisfied the Defense Housing Exec that I hae not been running a crack whore den from the spare room, packed the meega (not forgetting the wife of course)

and I will be on the autobahn by tomorrow PM.   8-)

I will still be on here pretty much everyday when I should be working.

If anyone is around Hannover give me a shout!
