Hi all

My name is Rolf and i am located in Lahr / Blackforest, southwest Germany. I am owner of two Opel Omega B, one is a limousine (MT), the other one is a caravan (AT), both with the 2.0 / 16 V engine. I have two passions. First is vintage analog audio (turntables) and second are my Omegas.

The caravan is for winter use, not pretty, but in very good running condition.
My Limousine is summer driver. Last winter i did the complete bodywork, front suspension, brakes and xenon conversion.

German Omega scene is a little dull, so i will have a look to the UK

Thanks for friendly welcome!

My Omega saloon i found for very small money three years ago on ebay. I was looking for a low budget car, because i was in a little difficult finaciel situation. I choose the Omega, because he reminds me a little on my Senator B 24V i drove over 10 years. The best engine i ever had....

So i wanted to ride down Omegas tecnical license and get another one. But i felt i love with that car. So i decided not to wreak the saloon after using and to refurbish it, when i will find the time.

It took 2 years to start. In the meantime i bought my Caravan and got him a new tecnical licence
Early this year the fight began. If anyone is interssted in details, please have a look on this site:

On the same site you will find my refurbishment of Caravan`s front wheel suspension. Same i did on the Saloon. Sorry it is in German, but pictures are internatinal.

The saloon got a new tecnical licence in August and i drove it over summer. Great. Next week i will change the cars. The Caravan has to take the winter part and the liousine will be stored dry and warm.

Waiting for the summer...

Vintage Turntables eh, one of my first Jobs after leaving School was working for as  Trainee Engineer for Thorens / Ortofon.  ;)

I was Thorens for a while...i took over all inventar of Thorens after bankrupty in 1999 here in Lahr. I did service upgrades and Thorens based new constructions (Reference II, Baby Blue)

But Asia finacial crise in 2008 broke my neck. I gave up in 2012. So i have to do a new start.
