Surely, if you were hoping to win customers for your launch platform, you'd want to demonstrate its accuracy in putting the payload exactly where you say you're going to put it, as this is what your customers will want?
I don't get the "well, we'll just fire up the engine and, if the electronics works, and the fuel hasn't frozen, we'll burn it all and see where it ends up" approach at all.
Do they have the capability to put something where they say they will, or are they just amateurs playing with bottle rockets like I did when I was a kid*, but on a slightly larger budget?
