The programme does discuss farming and the challenges farmers face at all levels. It is very effective at doing that, with a large following within the farming community.

Life on a farm in 2018 is very hard with plenty of uncertainty.

I personally look forward to this programme every week :y

Another BBC programme with a BBC agenda.

What did that BBC News exec call it the other day, "solution driven journalism"?

Neutral, my arse.

The BBC doesn't, directly, stand for any political party of any colour, it wouldn't dare. What it does is invite guests and commentators on to it's news and current affairs programmes that it knows will have a certain point of view.
Partisan....at arms length.

I used to enjoy it but stopped watching it when they changed the format to cater for people with short attention spans. For example starting an item then after a few minutes switching to another item after saying later we will go back to the first item. Top Gear does it too.

One day we will have in depth documentary programmes that last as long as two maybe three minutes

Coming from a farming background I used to watch it every week.  :y

Then they snuck in a 15-20 minute segment about artists, sculptors and yogurt knitters every week and I've increasingly lost interest.  ::)  :(

Maureen always used to watch it only bit I was interested in was the weather forecast which for some reason always seemed more accurate than the daily one on the news programmes.

This started in America and is happening in lots of programmes now. For instance 'Can't pay we'll take it away'. We get to the point where the debtor tells the sheriffs to do one or there'll be trouble and we go to a break. When it comes back on it runs through the whole fickin thing again...very annoying.
