Changing a front wheel bearing on a 206 and the circlip is well and truly stuck in the groove... Any hot tips for removing it?

aaronjb:
A lot of swearing followed by losing an eye.

(No good tips - I broke several drifts trying to get stuck circlips out of the propshaft UJs when disassembling the Jag.. managed not to lose an eye, though)

I use a die grinder and grind a groove in the hub where the join in the clip is so a screwdriver can get behind the clip, they are a pain in the as on peugeots :-\

Lazydocker:
I can get a grip on it but it just won’t budge... Starting to get the hump now! ::)

Gaffers:
Can you get a drill bit to it, cut it in half?
