This weather brings out the oopsing oopstards in all road users.  The oopstards you see on bikes only do it when the weather is like this so have no clue what they are doing half the time (and that's being generous).

I had one nearly run me over outside my house the other day.  He was riding too fast on the pavement and although he saw me behind the car he didn't anticipate that I may actually step back on to the pavement.  He apologised but kicked off when I mentioned that this was a pavement and the shared use cycle lane is on the other side of the road.  Apparently he doesn't have the minerals to ride on the road but has enough to call me a c*** and ride off like a p**** before I have a chance to riposte.  He had all the gear and no f-ing idea.  These guys are probably what people bitch about when they talk about cyclists, except they aren't.  They are just a oops on a bike.

That said, I haven't seen him since that day though though.  He probably doesn't want to go for round 2 ::)
