In other words a joint press announcement by NI MOT centres and a German car manufacturer would be along the lines: "NI MOT standards are proud of their record of attracting sponsorship & partnership with a major German car manufacturer & their joint development of robust diesel emissions standards & testing procedures." ::) ::) ::) ::) ::)

PS: Our non-meter testing has nothing to do with most NI diesels running on fuel containing a red dye. :-X :-X :-X

They conduct an opacity test down here using equipment that visually checks the exhaust fumes . Max revs for two secs twice , sounds brutal , but they are tight on it .

I love that attitude. Im sure it was far call to do with H&S, but more like "this shite is stupid. don't bother with it any more".
Just the way it should be.  ;D

Yes. But if you do stuff like this and give all your money away to businesses to burn windmills, you'll end up with no government, mark my words  ;D
