I should really service the auto box, all original at 168k.

Far better and less messy taking it to SOS and letting them do it while you drink coffee in the town  :D

Far better and less messy taking it to SOS and letting them do it while you drink coffee in the town  :D

Yup. Thinking the same, always a faff as you cannot get the car that high. Also avoids your hair smelling of ATF for a week.

He could investigate my clonk on back ends as well, roundabouts turn either way sometimes get a clonk on offside rear.  :-\

Also really needs two people, one to change through the gears to prime them while t'other pumps ATF in

Replaced and inspected exhaust rubbers, all good there. Diff mounts could be possible, easy way to test on ramps?

Replaced and inspected exhaust rubbers, all good there. Diff mounts could be possible, easy way to test on ramps?

Take one off and see how many pieces it's in, if ok replace and take the other one off and see if that's in more than one piece!

Or talk someone into doing it more locally... Maybe buy a pair from a breaker and see if NickW or can help.
