Are front struts similar Left/Right
« on: 02 December 2018, 12:42:46 »

Just changing left side  (first), I have two new and they look similar, so are they identical left and right?

I assume you mean the shock absorber as opposed to the whole strut assemply? In which case it depends on the make of shock absorber. Some have a bracket for the brake hose on one side of the shock, hence they're left and right handed. And some have a pair of brackets, one on each side of the shock. Hence the shock can be mounted on either side.

As your Omega is left hand drive the springs are likely handed and not interchangeable left to right.

Thaks for answer, yes I meant shock absorbers. They have these brackets on each side and thus clear now. Can be assembled on ether side. And yes springs have different length, I bought Lesjöfors springs, left side is a bit longer.
