Gave the exhaust, chassis rail or sump a decent introduction to the road surface after driving the opposite way up a road to normal.... I'd never had the problem in the opposite direction lol  :-[ ;D ::) :P

Risked removing the head unit in the 3.2, reworked my aux feed so that it exits the 2013 unit at the rear and down into passenger footwell. Then routes to drivers side so I have an headphone jack feed, near the light switch for my usual mount position.

Means I can junk the Bluetooth adaptor, and just direct connect.

Also fixed/replaced the cracked mirror glass. Connection for heated elements different though, will have to replace those before the winter.

Drove the Mondeo home slowly from Surrey using the skinny space saver, after my front offside tyre quickly went down yesterday.  ::)

When you say 'slowly'... I got passed on the M25 by someone in a Mondeo with a space saver spare on; and I was doing 70... ;D

Wasn't me!  ;D  It says Max 50mph on the rim in big black letters on a yellow background, so I thought I was pushing it at 60mph.  :-\

It was a nice leisurely drive down the A303 though and my ave MPG was a whopping 49!  :y  ;D

Now be honest, did you punch the screen for showing you the DPF warning?  ;D

I understand the DPF warning comes about as a result of durdling about, get yer foot down man!

I can claim innocence by starting the DPF warning comes up on the other screen, not the touchscreen. Phew.

As it happens, both things happened at almost the same time, give or take an hour.

You really shouldn't be getting a dpf warning the way you drive. How many miles on the pussy?

Since the 460 mile trek back from Scotland? About 10 when the DPF warning came on.  Its now out following a steady drive up the dual carriageway.

With the trucks at work, DAF shite, when the light comes on you simply have to park up, metres from anything, so that rules out parking bays ::) and press a button...

The truck then revs its bollix off for anything upto an hour and a half ::)

Given that they spend all day doing 20mph, this happens alot ;D
