Guys, Just wondered if any of you might recommend a course of action to me.

I've noticed on my MV6 that if the car's been sitting for a while, (say a day or more.), that when I start it and select reverse, (I reverse out of my driveway more often than not.), it takes a bit of time before it engages drive.

I had the fluid replaced at the last service, (10k ago), and it's due another one.

Do you think it's just low fluid and I should get it topped up, (Haven't seen any evidence of leaks), or is it indicative of a more serious impending problem?

For the record, it seems to drive just fine after it engages.

I'd have a look at the fluid level (easier said than done  >:( )My 12v Senator used to do this on a low(er) transmission oil level.
The alternative is to not leave it on the drive for days at a time! ::)

Well, I don't usually, but I'm switching between cars at the moment.  :-?

what i mean is mine seems slower to engage reverse than D most of the time and id expect cold fluid etc would make it more noticeable?
