Richard Hammond heli'd out to hospital.  Say he walked to heli after being cut out of overturned car, but in critical condition.

Conflicting reports.  BBC film crew says he walked to Heli.  Air ambulance service says he was unconscious when they got there.  Fire services say that he was trapped in overturned car.  No more news until his wife gets to Leeds apparently.

Bad news indeed :'(  Todays paper says he was conscious for a short time after it happened but then blacked out. Apparently he received severe head injuries but is now stable.

Lets hope he makes a full recovery very soon as TG just won't be the same without him.

Could be the excuse I think TG have been looking for to finally wind the show up. Rumour was that this would be the last series anyway...
