The law of s*d
« on: 10 October 2006, 16:19:57 »

Isn't it bl**dy typical, out with a few mates at the weekend and one of them's got a stinking cold. I said I bet any money you like I'll get it because I'm going to Santa Pod next weekend and camping out overnight.

Sure enough, as the day has progressed I've got all the classic symptoms.....sore throat, runny nose etc etc :'( and I've been nowhere near Martin Imber!! ;D

Hopefully it'll only last a couple of days so should be ok for Santa Pod - I'll just have to bring a bottle of Brandy as well as beer! ;)

Nothing makes a cold feel better than going down the local, spreading a few germs and getting pissed.

Well I am feeling a bit better, did some tidying in the garage - lots of cardboard to go to the tip, and a lots of too small childrens shoes for recycling.

Then did a little digging in the garden fresh air and exercise helps

Very true TD. I also find port and brandy works wonders..............until the following morning when the headache is twice as bad.

Mind you, I stayed off the alcohol last night and had a cr*p night's sleep as couldn't breathe properly
and feeling like sh*it today, so maybe I should have indulged in some "medicinal" cures after all ::)

That's what I like - a bit of sympathy!!  :(

Nah.......my son'll have to put up with the coughing and spluttering otherwise he'll have to kip in the car ::) Mind you, if I'm still suffering I'll make sure I've had sufficient "medicine" before going to sleep ;) ;D
