It might be a good idea to check that your digital camera is set to manual colour temperature while you're at it, otherwise the auto correction will invalidate any comparisons.

If you can, try putting something you know to be white in the picture, say photoquality printer paper (not ordinary printer/copier paper, as this contains phosphors to make it slightly blue).

The new bulbs turned up and they are Brilliant... fit perfectly and give an extremely bright light with tinge of blue!




Totally recommend them to anybody...

... what colour temp. are the new bulbs then, 4100K or 6000K?

yes 6000k, just right i think. Gives a good balance of power and looks.
