On the plus side, at least the cambelt is noce and clean. ;D

So, is this wreck, sorry lovely car ready for sale now then?
The cambelt (and tensioners) look fairly new, like most things on this motor, shame they didn't change water pump at same time as it would have saved me a job.

Still needs a rad switch, and waiting for logbook to turn up.  If Tunnie is available, I may change brake fluid for the hell of it and for completeness...

After changing waterpump, Project TB1 has been over to Aylesbury and back (around 60m trip). Looks OK, but will check coolant level tomorrow.

Well, happy to report that it hasn't lost any more coolant :D

So, the last of the 'dirty' jobs are:
Rad switch
Pad sensor

Then just a damn good clean...

Radio programmed to match the car. Absolutely no idea what difference this makes, but did it for completeness whilst I had Tech2 out....

Something to do with adjusting the volume, depending on your speed??  If it has this feature  :-/

Its a CAR300 radio, no such luxuries. Anyway, speed/volume adjustment is user changable on those radios that support it...

I have 2 rad switches, neither work. I have put them in boiling water and stuck a multimeter across the pins in all combinations but everything is open circuit  >:(

Does anyomne have a spare radiator switch, 3 pin variety, ident XA knocking around that they can get to me quickly?

Possibly, but you need to part drain coolant first anyway...
