'dangle berries' to it, I'll have a quick look in the morning and see if I can pinpoint it.

Anyone know how to test leads and DIS?

Leads is a level resistence across the set of 6. DIS pack is basically a swap out with a known good one. On removing the DIS pack, look for corrosion/rus on the bottom of it and separation of the plastic insulation. Sure sign of it being damaged.

Beer 1st definitely.

So what can cause a misfire?

Faulty DIS
Faulty Leads
Fault plugs  (brand new - one had cracked when Tunnie and I checked, so replaced the set)
Leaky rocker gasket

Any other cause?

Seems to cruise OK, just acceleration, esp when low revs or pulling from standstill. Idle a little lumpy as well.

Does that give any clues?

Possibly. I'd say unlikely in this case though.

I may have cured the misfire, certainly temporarily.

Just thrashed Proj TB1 to within an inch of its life around the villages around the back of my place, and not a misfire at all :D

Alas, Tunnie, it handles similar to your 2.2 on that S bend between here and Halse, got a right wiggle on.

I shall see if the problem reoccurs before stating what I think the issue was (not quite sure between 2 possibilities)

Piece of cake disconnect the battery, remove the cover from the side of the seat and you will see the red clip laying flat clipped to the pre tensioner lift off and insert into the groove. Jobs a goodun. 5min job just hope you dont have any problem with the seat bolts as on mine one of the star headed bolts got recked so had to drill it out so be careful.
