Job well done
« on: 06 September 2006, 14:04:35 »

With a Waxoyl spray kit and extension tube, I've Waxoyl'd the inside bottom of all the doors today.

I inserted the extension tube into the drain holes in the bottom of each door and injected the Waxoyl until it was running freely out of each hole.

It took over 2 hours to stop dripping out!.

Quite pleased with myself.

Can you get the Waxoyl spray kit and extension tube from Halfords or is it off a website.

Yes, I got the pressure can, spray kit and extension tube in a special offer toolbox, which saved a couple of quid, and the toolbox came free.

Just like to add, I diluted it first with white spirit as I did not want to block up the drain holes.

I don't have white spirit AA, can I use a bottle of dry gin instead?  ;D

Well if memory serves, that wouldn't have been the first time you were under your car in your overalls, unless you ended-up changing the oil filter from the top?  :o
