Can anyone tell me if the radio unit in a 2001 CDX IS a nose system? Or if its an easy one to change

Likely to be a CCR2006, so not easy to identify Bose from that.  If saloon, do you have speakers on rear shelf? If Estate, do you have a speaker in passenger side cubby hole in boot?

These are signs of Bose.

If non Bose, its a fairly easy swap out, but do yourself a favour and put decent speakers in as well - the non Bose ones were shite when they left the factory, and 17yrs haven't helped the cause.  Unless you are seriously into classics, or are younger than 21, don't need to spend a fortune on speakers.
