Bonnet not opening

Stupid me bought a new battery so changed it over thing is I left 4 spanners on the plastic cover near to the bonnet catch shut the bonnet remembered the spanners were still there now the bonnet won't open
Tried pulling pushing allsorts no luck
Any ideas anyone

BTW the reason I put 4 spanners there is I have 5 on a keyring so took the one I needed off

Usual technique is to have someone pulling on the lever while you give the bonnet a sharp thump with the heel of your hand. This is for stretched cables, rather than actually jammed with tools, however. You can dig around underneath, grab the cable with pliers, but this is (I think) a bumper off job. Hence the first two person approach option worth trying.  :)
