Yep you ill struggle, tbh there is a nack of doing it, theres no real say so unless your attempted to cut stuff at rear.

TBH just play for a while and eventually it will go in!  ;)

What size is the Cab in the Iso setup?

My genral rule is for say 3 cuft for a single 12 and around 2.5 for iso'd pair.

Saying this because motor strength of the Iso'd couple tends to push the Woofer to xmax fairly quick!

So Box damping is raised with box being smaller!

I heard 4x15 inch JBL gt4's in a mazda (of my mates) iso'd in 7.5 cuft with 1600wrms, it got loud and to x max fast.

I love the oldskool route.

For me its high efficient drivers and low tuned large Ported Cab's.....of course you need to upgrade a stock Midbass unit!

But i love a flat 20-40 hz!

What are your box Spec's Dubford ( Cab size and vent tuning?)

This is what Car Audio is designed for, ok you wont get the Perfect Imaging your Home Audio System will give but with the right Equiptment and Positioning you can improve its stock.

Im running a Series Tuned Bandpass enclosure in my Mig basically the rear Chamber is Tuned to 24 hz and front to 70hz and have Plotted it correctly to play flat from 20 to 70.

Rear Chamber is 3 cuft and front is 2.5!

Because its a Sallon the Front Chamber Vent is firing straight through the Ski hatch!

Midbass next!    :)

Just out or curiosity, disconnect the RCA's from amps or your main Amp.

Could be a Short issue.

Not only that my main problem with that unit was the front Panel.

Wobbeling it up and down i lost Output, there is tiny Grub screws on th eactual connector behing front panel, just nip then up a bit and se what happened, it cured mine!

Thats the plan im going to take.

Will carry on when im off tues/wensday  :)

Yea i see where your coming from, i think im going to just drill a hole from inside out (then wires arnt a problem) then get the correct size grommit!

Should do the trick  :)

Because im fitting 4 Awg cable through out the Mig ive managed to squeeze it through the first Grrommit for the Amplifier , However im a little paranoid about making a hole through the secong Grommit and looking up the Dash inside the car i dont wanna go poking a drill through it because of the amount of wires.

I was thinking for saftety measurment that below the Pollen filter housing there is a Plastic surround below the flap just by the Fan , would it be ok to drill me a nice hole and fitted the correct size grommit here?

Has anybody tackled this with bigger cable.

I can se its quite an easy job for 6 Awg plus!

Thanks  :)

Mark those kits look very intresting!

Are they fairly easy to solder up?

I am a dab hand with woodwork so a case would not be a problem.

My Router will sort that1!
