Replace it.
With that idea the used replacement may be on its last legs.

Can it not just have a new lens fitted

Depends which version mech you have in there and which laser - easier to send it over for a free estimate than make a guess

Yes, CDR2005 are all interchangeable, just need the code upon installation   :y
