So.....a coworker owns laguna that is wannabe car and has a problem.....yep, the f......n keycard. He came to me and said Hey, you 're more like some Macgyver, eemmm would you take a look at it? And I did, though I hate renaults. Why can't they build a normal vehicle (they will never make a car!) ? Always something "special".... I had to cut keycard in the middle - it is glued originally Entire blade in it   Split apart

I'm not into it - paypal and other versions pf paying..... I would like to ask if anyone knows, is it posible to pay something with this "paysafe card"? Talking about ordering anything from England, like a part or two for my omega, couse you have a lot of spare parts there that I can't buy here, used I think. Thanks

Saw Irmscher f/l omega yesterday, estate, rear wing spoiler, lowered, debaged grill with Irmscher sign on it....driving on the oposite direction when going to work. I almost drove onto the sidewalk.....I don't know, I'm happy with my omega and with her condition and look but...but O felt like I'm missing something, an exitement, power, I don't know really. It was beautyfull car and nice to see another omega in great condition but I'm jelous...

Omega General Help / About S/L shocks

After repairing entire s/l system on my estate I found rear shocks leaking. So....how much sense is in changing them for good used ones and aprox. what would be the price for them? I don't have paypal yet but that can be fixed, for now I would just like to know what are the price like due to some other major spendings because of relocation to bigger apartment/house. Thanks

I made this yesterday, changed door panel a bit just to fit new front speakers. I hope it looks good but I would like to know if anyone tried something like this? Hello, I still have philips ccr600 fitted in a dash, but I replaced speakers with new. Now I have 165mm in front doors and two  170mm in the fifth door (it's an estate). The speakers in the front doors sound great, but in the back they don't have that power, barely hear basses. Is the line out for back speakers adjusted for 130mm midlle tones as were original? Should I amplify the signal for speakers in the back?

Hello, I got strange message yesterday - my left xenon  headlight died. Today the same bulb is working fine!?! Is it starting to go or should I check wiring?

Hello, my omega's right xenon head light is not working. I disasebled it and found electro motor not only dead but rusty all inside and out. Left head light seems to be ok so I need to change right one. Now what I would like to know is, should I try to change electro motor first, or should I just change the light entirely. And one more thing. There's not a lot of Omegas where I live, does anyone know if Vectra's xenon light motor would fit in, as a spare part. Thank you for answers

Omega General Help / Strange smell in the cabin

Good morning to all, I went to work at 02:30, 50 miles to get there and after some 15 miles strange smell started to.come into the cabin. I can't describe or compare it to anything I know but it's just like I'm carrying around some medical stuff, such a clean sharp odor maybe with some freshly done metal smell in it....I thought it's HBV but no coolant is missing, I had heating on eco, 22 degreess and drove arround 100 mph all the time on motorway. The odor is still present in the cabin now. Anyone knows what makes that smell? Thanks in advance

Omega General Help / Banging while breaking...?

Last week I posted a tread about banging noise coming out from under the car when driving over small bumps on the road. Today I heard "bang" coming from rear breakes every time I press break pedal....I'm going to my  mechanic now but I would like to know if this had happened to anyone and what could it be? I can work on the engine but I'm not playing with brakes, no way. Thanks

Omega General Help / Leaking from...?

My omega has leak in this place since I bought her. It's  at the top front just on the plastic under the belt.  I think there is a "semering"(I"ll try to find translation for this german word we use) leaking and needs to be replaced but don't know if there is some well known particular leaking issue on 2.0 grinder on this part of the engine. Any help apreciated

Hello, there 's a rattle coming from somewhere under my omega estate. I can hear it while driving slow with windows opened, rattle can't be heard inside a car.  I've already tried the exhaust and heat shields, no rattle, I don't find where it comes from.  Anyone had this issue before? Thanks
