Lord Camoron's Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office has announced £40 million of new funding to protect and promote human rights and freedoms for LGBT+ people around the world.  :)

https://threadreaderapp.com/thread/1727382832987926903.html

Also, the FCDO has announced a £30 million aid package for Gaza and Camoron will meet Hamas Palestinian Leaders.

And just to get your blood pressure up lads, the UK has handed over nearly £24 billion (so far) to the EU in payments for the Brexit divorce bill that our Dear Leaders stupidly agreed to pay.  >:(

Lord Camoron, Rishi Sunak's puppet masters pick for Foreign Secretary, said the other day that the UK needed a closer relationship with the EU. Well that didn't take long did it?  ::)

Just to really get your blood pumping lads here's the UK debt clock, so you can really see how quickly our Dear Leaders are pissing your money up the wall!  :-X

General Discussion Area / Dublin Stabbings
« on: 23 November 2023, 20:52:30 »
3 small kids and a woman in her 30's have been injured in a stabbing out side a school this afternoon. The woman and a 5 year old girl are seriously injured.

A man in his 40's who is a person of interest was also taken to hospital with unspecified injuries, and there is no description of the man.

There have been violent protests in Dublin city centre this evening.

I think we can draw our own conclusions as to what has happened here....

Apparently over a million people are demonstrating in Madrid today against the PM Pedro Sanchez and his deal with Catalonia's separatives to form a government.  :o

General Discussion Area / UK Terror Arrack?
« on: 21 October 2023, 18:47:08 »
Apparently there has been a 'terror attack' of some kind in the last day or two and an asylum seeker has been arrested and is in Police custody.

The authorities haven't released any details because it's an 'active' case and they don't want any copycat attacks with feelings running high over Israel/Gaza, although with my tin foil helmet on I expect they are trying to cover it up given that it's an asylum seeker that has been arrested (allegedly).  The fatal stabbing in Hartlepool last week hardly got any coverage in the media either ...  :-\

From the Daily Mail.

An asylum seeker, who is said to have wanted to avenge the deaths of people in Gaza, has carried out a suspected terror attack in Britain, it was claimed last night.

The man, who came to the UK in 2020, told police that he had done it for 'Palestine', according to The Telegraph.

Details of the terror attack in question can't be reported for legal reasons because the case is active.

But the suspect - who is currently in custody - is said to have told authorities after his arrest that he had committed the offence because Israel had killed children in Gaza.

Senior politicians have questioned why information of the attacker's motivation was not made public amid warnings that pro-Palestine protests this weekend could encourage so-called lone-wolf attacks.

Well the shit has hit the fan, and the inevitable Israeli response will be devastating.

Is it one of the consequences of a weak, corrupt American president possibly installed on the back of a rigged election which has emboldened the forces of evil around the world?  ???

General Discussion Area / Sycamore Gap
« on: 01 October 2023, 18:10:44 »
We're being led to believe that a 16 year old went out in the dead of night, to the middle of nowhere and under the cover of a big storm cut down a big 300 year old tree for a laugh.  ::)

Although apparently a 60 year old man has also been arrested now, and a farm near Hexham has been searched by Northumbria's finest.  Special Branch?  :-X

Joking apart, I wonder what the real reason that tree was cut down and who dunnit?  ???  Looking at the pictures, whoever cut down that tree knew what they were doing and it looks like a professional hit!  ::)

I've seen suggestions that there have been planning applications for windfarms in the area, so maybe that tree was in the way?  I'd imagine that the gap would be handy spot for an access road to get through Hadrian's Wall?  ???

Time will tell and the truth will come out!  ::)  :)

General Discussion Area / Lampedusa
« on: 18 September 2023, 19:07:03 »
Last week around 200 boats delivered around 8000 young men mostly from sub-Saharan Africa onto the Italian island of Lampedusa, which has a population of around 6000.  :o  These young men will be dispersed around the continent and no doubt some will end up on the beaches of Northern France looking for a ride across the Channel.  ::)

This is invasion of migrants has been clearly very well organised and coordinated possibly by state actors? I've seen suggestions that Russia's Wagner Group are involved. If so it's clearly designed to destabilise Europe and it might well succeed.  The UK is spending about £6bn a year accommodating illegal immigrants in hotels etc, so god knows what Italy is spending and their finances are much more fragile than ours. Italian bond yields are rising so another European debt crisis cannot be ruled out and this time round will Germany bail them out?  ???

At some point Europe's politicians (including ours) will have to grasp the nettle and will have to physically stop the boats and turn them round in the Med and the Channel.  ::)

The experts told Elon Musk that it would take six to nine months to move a load of servers from Sacramento to Portland. Musk got stuck in and it was done in weeks. Interesting read!  :y
