Thanks for the offer but I think I can source another connector. When I bought this car the guy had another Omega that I sort of got in the purchase. I took a couple of things from it then. He still got it and I talked with him today and I can go there and take what I need. Only drawback is that it is a 4 hour drive one way...

Solved this now. Got a display connector from a donor car with the correct display that I could take the two wires from, it was kind of easy to take it appart and pry the cable with the bits out and then it was just to put them back in the connector in the car. As I suspected pin 23 and 24 was empty in my car so it was simple to put the new ones in.

Also got the female connector to the stalk and connected everything and now I can scroll through the display as intended.
