There are two ways.....

....to move a fridge freezer across vinyl flooring, in order to paint the walls behind.
1) Carefully remove everything from within and, using your sack barrow, wheel it well out of the way, giving yourself plenty of room to work. Or...
2) Leave everything in there and manhandle the bastard out with a series of grunts and farts, tearing a great big tongue out of the vinyl flooring and sending the glass ornament which your wife thoughtlessly placed on top of it bouncing along the kitchen floor.

Guess which method I used.

Just busy, thank you, Enery. It's that time of year when I have to get off my backside and do some work around the house. With it being an oldish house, nothing is simple. Went to replace a ceiling light in the bathroom this morning. Took the old one down.......no earth  :(
So off to change the one I got for a double insulated one. Hey ho.

He probably stole the wheels off it long ago and sold them  ;D

Just stick said "tongue " back with trim adhesive
steal a carpet sample from floors to go and use as a mat to cover it  :y

My pal is a washing machine engineer, he sprays any form of cleaner on the floor in front of the machine and it simply slides forward with ease

I have some what I term as roller skates-can't recall their proper name. These are extendable to fit varying depth appliances and a little lever to lock/unlock the wheels.Makes moving fridges/freezers/washing machines easy peasy :y

Tilt back on the two rear wheels and slide two scrap bits of laminate under,so they touch rear wheels..let down...tilt onto two front wheels and glide it over the laminate.  :y
