make sure the dash is fully pushed back, taken it out recently?

Check all fuses, and get the codes read. It could be the ABS ECU, random guess you have a V6, 1998 ish?

sadly it's a bit more serious, sound like the patient has an acute case of abs ecu failure, like so many others have done on these pages.

Loosen all the bolts (but don't fully remove)... crawl along and hammer the brake on 

large rubber mallet and weetabix for breakfast should be the solution

Has anyone any experience of the total cost of replacing locks etc when a key goes missing, and also whats involved. I presume the car locks, ignition and remote locking sensors will all need replacing? I have an Omega 2.2 Estate, 2003.

not to mention that your key and remotes will need reprogramming at dealers

hi all

ive recently fitted a second hand abs ecu on my omega to cure the usual abs tc speedo fault, upn fitting the new one, the light briefly went out then came back on, along with all the related probs.

does anyone know whether the ecu needs programming, and if so can it only be done at the dealers or can any one else do it.

i had a similar prob with my v6 a couple of years ago, car would start fine, do a few miles, revs would drop and then not start until car cooled down. eventually found problem to be crank sensor
