End of an Era
« on: 17 March 2019, 12:32:12 »

Just watched Big Blue's new owner drive her away.

Ending many years of Omega ownership.

They've been good, pity they stopped making them.

True, there are some very nice ones still out there, but the boys from N.I are taking them back over to the Emerald Isle never to been seen again :'( I've just seen a 1994 one on for three grand and a very nice one at that,so yes definitely there's still a few good ones to be found :y

Still wished I'd have kept AK 51 ONV wonder where she is now, best car for under £2000 I've ever owned.

Big Blue was a nice example. I remember it when Bob Dent owned it. Must be nearly 10 years ago !

Was a bit surreal watching it drive off with its old drive mate!  The red car and the blue car back together again!

I had forgotten about Paul Lovejoy being the first owner. He told me about it when he paid a visit and we had a cuppa in our back garden one sunny day.
Not long after that he was gone. Poor fella.  :(
That car must have more OOF history than any other Omega.
