Sorry Matt RedNeck, I meant your forum name.  You'll just be using your surname as your forum name then?  :y

Thinking of upgrading the horn for one of those that sound like a train horn :D

My boss has one of those in his F150 Raptor..

..he lives in Texas, naturally ;D

I was watching what was required to install it.  I might just get one which I can swap over without new wiring, etc.

Might I recommend a Whelen Alpha set up with 100w speaker...

A relay driven by the horn circuit and power is all you need :-X

Single tone setting is perfectly adequate for most jobs. A quick press of the horn only sounds the factory horn due to the relay switching delay, but if a quick beep isn't enough press the button and hold it down and you get the full ARE YOU OPPOSING BLIND effect :y

Has the added flexibility to provide PA ability with a mic...

The PA element doesn't sound 100% uk road legal.  Not that the train horn is either  ::)

The alternative tones aren't exactly civilian but the air horn is... That's to say my ex plod taxi had one fitted with no MoT issues  :y

The siren needs to be securely mounted though as they're quite weighty...

Can't beat a set of air powered train horns 150db, most people's jump when they get a toot :)

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2-x-KILEN-REAR-COIL-SPRING-PAIR-SUSPENSION-GENUINE-OE-QUALITY-71026/263096144945?fits=Car+Make%3AVauxhall%7CModel%3AOmega%7CCars+Type%3A2.6+V6%7CPlat_Gen%3AB%7CCars+Year%3A2002%7CVariant%3AB+%5B1994-2003%5D+Saloon&hash=item3d41c09431:g:9tEAAOSwb~9ZbzEj:rk:10:pf:0
