Bought a new tyre  :'(

And judging by the way the Battlebus was aquaplaning on the way back from Gatwick over the weekend, that needs new fronts, irrespective of its tread wear.

Well if you will drive at 90mph in 6 inchs of water, what do you expect?!  :o  ;D

Even at 55mph, I was fully clenched going down Chickenshit Canyon.

Maybe I'm just getting old...   ...though I think its poor quality cheap tyres.

The only problem with chicken shit (A40) canyon is when you're re testing your just WIM'd setup and as you round a corner descending you find some amoeba overtaking on the non-dual lane ascending the hill...

A bit of cleaning and light restoration work on the mighty C90. Tried to work out if there was any way of attaching a fireblade engine to the frame, but I think that's a non starter.  :D

A visit to Huntingdon to see Serek and now the project car has a new rear crank seal, autobox fluid and filter change, lambda relocation (no more 0420/0430 :) ) and functioning aircon. Very Happy!

The only problem with chicken shit (A40) canyon is when you're re testing your just WIM'd setup and as you round a corner descending you find some amoeba overtaking on the non-dual lane ascending the hill...
And its too slow, hence I use the wider part, commonly called the M40....

Where's the fun in that!  ::) :D

Many years ago the Police used to wait on the bottom of said M40 canyon (just before the Watlington turn) waiting for us red Cavalier SRi drivers to descend at errr the national speed limit.  :-X

A bit like the fikkers waiting at the bottom of the 3 mile long 9 mile hill on the A14. With their florry markings covered over with van colour magnetic strips.  Hardy playing the white man (other skin tones available, if you are a do-gooder).

Oh and be aware of the unmarked silver 5 series estate often parked in laybys around Warwickshire with a camera lense pointing through a drilled hole in the rear bumper..... >:(
