New omega owner problem help

Just bought a 2003 2.2 dti and I love it , I've just got one problem at the min and it's the electric seat , it won't adjust up or down , the motor sounds like it's trying to work but it just clicks any one got any ideas thanks guys

Cheers I'll try that , when I looked at it yesterday underneath the seat I looked at at the rod what comes out of the motor to adjust there was like a bolt what looks like it should be on the thread but it's just loose is this right ?
