Title: Curry 14/15th of March...
Post by: 05omegav6 on 26 February 2014, 13:58:46
Miahs at Spencers Wood in order to be a bit more central for those coming from East Bicester/South Milton Keynes.

Leaning towards Saturday 15th, but some flexibility if numbers demand :y

I'm back from France on the 14th, so Saturday would be good for me.

Provisionally count me in.

One of the ones on the A30 is good. Smallish place. Not sure it it's the one linked or not.

If we're looking at Camberley, the one upstairs in the Atrium is also rather good... not handy for the Milton Keynsians, though. :-\

If its the Sat, and it looks like it is, I can only do very early curry, as I need to be home before 10ish.  Or more accurately, I need to get Mrs TB home before 10, as the daft mare has an early start on the Sunday.

Right, Chinese is an option :y

Still thinking West Berkshire, although journey times from Not Milton Keynes to Camberley/Farnborough or thereaboots would be broadly similar to Not Reading :-\

If a touch earlier on Saturday is amenable to everyone, then I just need an idea of numbers and somewhere recommended to eat... :y

We still hope to make this, but Chris  had a short car journey this week and every pothole/lump caused discomfort, plus the fact that she still needs a pillow between her and the seat belt worries me in case of sudden braking.. :( however things get better every day so we will make the decision on Wednesday if that's ok ??  If that's too late we'll drop out this time and wait until the next   :)

No worries, it's easier to downsize on the night than try and squeeze people in last minute, so last minute is no problem :y Hopefully see you both...

Can Chris get a medical exemption note from the docs for not wearing a seatbelt??

I think ive put on a seatbelt about a handful of times in the last ten years.....altho i am aware im suppose to wear one if no passengers  ::)
Passat has been 'fixed' so it doesnt beep at me for not wearing a seatbelt....passenger seat has been left 'unfixed' so that beeps if passengers dont wear their belts.  ::)

Tho iirc Omega's dont suffer with that problem.,.,

The car park at the rear has CCTV, but fills up quickly, so there is also the over flow car park in the village hall/library opposite the front door. It's not lit though.

Given the early start time though, we'll probably fill the rear first. :y

Gayboy, do you and Mrs Gixer need a lift, seems a shame that one of you have to drive as we're virtually passing your door?

Ideally need to be away by 9pm though, as Mrs TB has an early start, so need her tucked up in bed by 10:30

Yes very enjoyable as always. Thankyou Johnny. :y

Think the kitchen had their hands full delivering all the food for 17 people all at once, but I thought they managed it, just.

Nice to see everyone again, although as always with these things, didn't quite get round everyone, and talk to the the other end of the table quite enough. Maybe next time. :y
