I've PM'd a few new members suggesting they will get more / better help here, not suggesting they shouldnt remain there or anything, but no names I PM'd ever arrived here, and someone obviously took offence and 'dobbed me in' and got me banned.  No trouble to re-reg I know, but I wouldn't waste time over there.

This is what I mean - they are the aggressors here not us!

Google will help us anyway, perhaps lack of help there will make them look elsewhere.

Not in this case - Time To Live in this case is how long should a caching DNS server or client cache the result for before requerying...

So if you wanna move IP, set the DNS TTL to, say, an hour instead of the usual 2 days or so...

I had been a silent viewer of both sites for a couple of months now and decided to register on this site, as it is indeed more informative and friendly. Keep up the standard lads.

This is what we have done, as to slagging - some of us - notably Finlay got rather a lot, and the problem was NOT caused by VXON site owner

Its history - do we really need to drag it all up again?

I know many of us got banned from VxON, and there was a lot of bad feeling, but we have already said that VxON slagging will not be tolerated here....

I'm not slagging or dragging up, just clearing up some points, basically of rudeness and intolerance.

They can go and get on with their petty squabbles missing any money from what they would have got if more of us had joined - I was considering before the problems, but was unsure.

Anyway time for a new policy, no mention of that site at all? Thoughts please?

Do we really need to keep going on about the other site at the end of the day this site was created for those who didn't get on with the other site.

To me best left well alone otherwise more debates appear which are unecessary.
