Went out to the Desmond and gave the coolant expansion some verbal for having a wee strop and getting the display to annoy me with warnings of a non-existent coolant loss - the cheeky wee gett. >:(

I've left the 'tank' out - where's me edit button. :o :o :o

Drove mine to Leicester last night to drop off some wheels.. well, Leicester Services East on the M1. And then drove it back again, another 240 miles gone..

Really must get some new tyres, the fronts are bald at the edges and the rears aren't much better  :-[

It's gone from pull to a wander...?  ???

Done absolutely cock all with mine. Waiting for independent report, which I don't think will change anything. .... Sigh....
Paid attention to it today - drove to Towcester for gas, as breaked if I'm using the local BP inbred, breakless, thick, stupid, pointless, unhelpful, useless retards. Defo a pull, at certain speeds, quite, errr, 'interesting'. Always right (then not in truck ruts are crazy camber on road).

Washed the mud from Goodwod off it, that's only been there a month.

Then decided to change the plugs to try and sort the slight misfire.

Driver's side went well, plugs were knackered, but barely any oil in the holes.

Then went to the passenger side. What cretin decided that putting the wiring loom directly above the plugs in a rigid tray was a good idea? It only needed to be routed slightly differently. Then the really bad news started; I broke one of the plugleads as soon as I tried removing it. This was at 16:45, cue frantic running around to get a new set as I need the damn thing to get to work in the morning. Finally found a set at the fifth factor I tried and finished fitting them in the dark. Turns out these 3 plugs were in a  much worse state than the others. I reckon the butcher who was paid to service it last took one look at what was involved, and decided not to bother.

This was after I'd immobilised my other car by putting it's alternator on Deb's Morris so she can use it tomorrow and exchange the faulty one for a replacement.

I knew washing it wasn't a good idea!

...right, tip off from engineer, so started pulling it to bits, changing the stub axle anyway to be sure, so all dismantled before work, Quick text to Steve at omega parts and picked up a complete stubby on the way home. Ready for re assembly tomorrow. Enough cocking about waiting for bloody insurance companies. ON WITH IT!

my son spent 6 hours cleaning my mv6 inside and out, while i t-cut and polished the entire  roof, to get rid of a black speckly deposit that's been annoying me for ages....   (over spray maybe from something being painted near by...  , or possibly dried on  oil from a helicopter,...  )

it's gorgeous....

Tried and tried and tried and tried to get that d*m oil filter cap off.                                                     Failed  :'( :'( :'(

Worrying thing is how long has it been stuck on, the filter could be several years old, so is doing no use at all. I've just ordered a 2ft breaker bar, and if that fails, I'll have to take it to the stealers to get it done.

Changed the oil, and hopefully fixed the self leveling error, the arm that fits into the body sensor had come out.
