Too far from the Club House to plug in where we'll be pitched.

Have a look here .... http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1222548731/all

The Club House is just out of shot to the left on the photo of AmigoMV6/Guy & Mrs Andy B

As said. You need to talk to Ian_D re electric as AFAIAW the caravan site is a seperate concern from the field where we'll be.

I take it you'll be in a caravan  :-/ A battery should last you the week end aslong as you don't batter your telly (12V) and if it comes to it you could always stick your battery in the Club Hse on charge for an afternoon  :y

Hi folks!

Sorry I’ve almost abandoned this for a few weeks, I’ve been flying round like a blue .... ;D

Price wise, were looking at around £20 for the weekend (2 nights) and a little bit more if you’re stopping longer.

As for electric... so we NEED it then? I will be taking a 4kw genny down anyway, and I will just leave the key in it, so if you need power, help yourself and start her up! (Just help me out on fuel – its unleaded!) ;D

Other option I did think was if a few of us take LONG extension leads (i have a 25 meter one) and we could always plug it in inside the pavilion!  :-X (Shuuush!) - It will be fine providing we don’t all stick the kettle on at the same time!  ;D

Event times... The area is available for people to pitch up on anytime Friday till Monday. Downside is I CANNOT get Friday off work  :'( (I am still working on it though, but its not looking likely) So I will be down around 6:00 - 6:30 pm

As for kettles, all campers should know that domestic kettles are a No-No, with most sites providing 6A, some newer ones 10A ;)

Use a gas kettle.  I can get away without leccy, I'm sure everyone else can to - its only a weekend.  I will have to use the inverter to blow up my airbed though ;D
